Celebration of Commercial Real Estate

TOBY Awards

The Outstanding Buildings of the Year Awards are presented to honor excellence in building management.  This year we have three buildings who have achieved the awards.

Volunteer Awards

President's Award
Rebecca Barnes

Presented by the current President to recognize outstanding service to the association.  Rebecca has served BOMA as Board President, VP, and Secretary.  She has chaired the Golf Tourney and volunteered for many events and programs.

Principal of the Year Award
Leslie Fisk

The Principal Award recognizes notable individuals who have dedicated much time and resources to the benefit of our local association.   In addition to serving on the Board and as BOMA SV's President in 2013,  Leslie has for many years chaired the Education Committee.  Thank you, Leslie

Associate of the Year Award
Marissa Laubach
, Environmental Roofing & Waterproofing

The Associates Award recognizes commitment and outstanding contributions to BOMA.  Marissa is one of our unsung heroes, until now.  She works behind the scenes on a variety of events, most notably Share Your Holiday.  Her cheerful and unwavering support of BOMA is deeply appreciated


Emerging Leaders Dues Award

The Emerging Leaders dues fund was created in 2014 to assist a CRE professional with less than 7 years experience in attaining BOMA membership.  The "dues scholarship" requires the recipient in the awarded year to participate on a committee or BOMA educational course.

Sherie Dunn Memorial Scholarship Awardees

Named for BOMA Silicon Valley's first president, the scholarship encourages continuing education for all levels of property management professionals. In 2016 the Board expanded the scholarships to a quarterly program providing paid registration for one of the following each quarter:  1) BOMI class offered for a designation or certificate program anywhere in the USA, 2) A qualifying college level real estate course or 3) A real estate school course to count towards a CA BRE license or license renewal.

The two recipients selected thus far for 2017 are
