(The Outstanding Building of the Year) TOBY Award
The TOBY Award is the most prestigious and comprehensive award program of its kind in the commercial
real estate industry, recognizing quality in buildings and awarding excellence in building management and environmental
stewardship. The categories are:
- 100,000 – 249,000 Square Feet category
- 500,000 – 1 Million Square Feet category
- Renovated Building category
- Suburban Office Park Mid-Rise category
The TOBY Award recognizes all facets of building operations, including tenant relations programs, community
involvement, emergency preparedness, security standards, and continuing education for building personnel. Floor plans, site
plans, and photographs are reviewed during the selection process, providing an extensive assessment of the building.
You will find the BOMA Silicon Valley local competition entry form below. Your completed entry form and
entry payment of $150 are due at the same time to the BOMA Office. Winners of a TOBY from BOMA Silicon Valley will
advance to the Regional and then to the International Competition.
